Anita Sung completed her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Regent University, and also has a master’s degree in Church History from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Her areas of counseling interest include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, childhood trauma, infertility, grief, and spiritual formation. Anita is drawn to an emotion-focused and person-centered approach to therapy. She is also interested in exploring the identity development and unique experiences of mixed race and culturally diverse individuals struggling to develop a coherent social and cultural identity. Anita also values each person's spiritual journey as a meaningful part of their story and is always open to processing people's experiences with a gospel-centered approach. She is also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator.
Anita and her husband live in the Upper East Side. They enjoy taking walks in the park, going to the beach and deep conversations. Along with that, Anita enjoys journaling, the literary arts, storytelling of all sorts and connecting with close friends.
