Leaders’ Training
in Pastoral Care
Our standard series generally covers about 15 hours of content over three or five sessions. The curriculum is contextualized to equip leaders and volunteers to better care for congregants’ emotional and spiritual needs. The Redeemer Counseling Training Team endeavors to equip the church and its leaders to love people well and minimize unintentional harm.

We have three objectives in this training series:
“As I was reflecting on these last weeks, what really impressed me was this training series was an answer to prayer. Seminary taught me a lot about theology and the Bible but it really did not equip me to deal with the real life issues that were going to be experienced in our church and in our community.”
— Pastor David Kim, The Bridge Church
