Leaders’ Training
in Pastoral Care

Our standard Leaders' Training offers approximately 15 hours of training delivered across multiple sessions. Each training is thoughtfully contextualized to equip leaders and volunteers to care for the emotional and spiritual needs of their congregants. The Redeemer Counseling Training Team is committed to strengthening churches by helping leaders love others well while minimizing unintentional harm.

We offer several flexible training formats to best meet your church's needs, depending on location, scheduling and availability:

We have openings to host this series in:

  • Five 3-hour sessions (in person)

  • Three full-day sessions (in person)

  • Eight 2-hour sessions (virtual)

  • Hybrid format (a combination of in-person and virtual sessions)

We have three objectives in this training series:

“As I was reflecting on these last weeks, what really impressed me was this training series was an answer to prayer. Seminary taught me a lot about theology and the Bible but it really did not equip me to deal with the real life issues that were going to be experienced in our church and in our community.”

— Pastor David Kim, The Bridge Church
