Donna Field
Intern Counselor
In progress: MA in Counseling: Clinical Mental Health
Donna Field is an intern with Redeemer Counseling. She is currently in her third year of a Master of Arts in Counseling: Clinical Mental Health at the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine and is expected to complete her degree in May 2025. She is excited for the adventure that working directly with clients brings and looks forward to developing a relationship with each client to assist in their development and growth. With her training in how attachment early in life affects a person’s current experience, along with learning about other therapy models, she hopes to help those who struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other personal issues. Her commitment to counseling from a gospel-perspective is something she hopes will benefit clients who see their spiritual life as an important aspect of their whole story.
Donna has over 35 years of ministry experience including church planting with her husband, administration, directing Sunday schools, discipleship, guidance counseling, and developing relationships with church attenders and leaders. She has decades of experience parenting four children who are now adults. She has three young grandchildren and enjoys spending time with them and with the rest of her family whenever possible. Donna resides on the Upper West Side with her husband, who serves as the executive pastor at Redeemer West Side. She enjoys quiet mornings, reading, walks in the park, good restaurants, and traveling with her husband.
