Help People Set
Healthy Goals

Counseling Toolkit for
January 2025

As we begin this new year, the second quarter of the 2000s though it’s hard to believe, many of us are setting goals. One of the challenges of moving toward a goal is that our desire for progress can easily become a pressured, self-imposed expectation. The goal becomes a measurement of our identity—our self-worth and view of self rises and falls based on how we are making steps toward achieving what we want. As we enter 2025, this Toolkit shares practical insights on how to help people set and work toward goals in a healthy way.
