Kaitlin Cheung, LMHC
Counselor
Kaitlin received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling and is a trilingual (English, Cantonese, and Mandarin) licensed mental health counselor in the State of New York. Kaitlin has experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds and has a burden for walking with individuals through trauma, grief, life transitions, and other life stressors. Kaitlin’s counseling career began following a desire to destigmatize mental health in the church. Having a sibling with autism and epilepsy, she’s experienced the confusion and judgment from church members towards her sibling, and she hopes to change the negative perspectives towards mental health. She is an active member of her home church: Oversea Chinese Mission, in Chinatown, Manhattan, where she currently serves as a deacon.
Kaitlin is a Certified Brainspotting Therapist, Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, and trained in both Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Gottman Level 1 Couples Counseling.
During her free time, Kaitlin enjoys running half-marathons with her husband John, spending time with her family, café hunting, hiking, and shelling.
