Kristen Phelps is the Scheduling and Services Manager. While getting her bachelor's degree from Bryan College in Tennessee, she had an internship in Chennai & Mumbai, India working with lepers, disabled orphans, abused women and children, and the local church leaders ministering to them.  

Upon returning from India and completing her bachelor's, she decided to pursue a master’s degree in Counseling. During this time, she visited NYC and fell immediately in love with the diversity of ethnicity, religion, thought, age, interests, lifestyle, etc. that exist within the five boroughs. By the time she finished her degree in counseling, God had opened doors for her to move to the Upper West Side, become a teacher, and complete a second Master's degree in Math Education. After six years of work in public education, Kristen transitioned back into the world of counseling, to serve in a role that connects her love for people and mental health with her professional skills in administration and organizational health.

She serves on the teaching team at New City Church in Long Island City. She enjoys any outdoors activity, including picnics, sports, hiking, camping, and swimming.
