Counselor

Lynn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker focused on psychotherapy that helps individuals grow and heal. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has extensive clinical experience working with populations of various life stages, from children to older adults. Lynn specializes in helping individuals and couples navigate challenges together, such as self-identity issues, trauma, substance use, relationship stressors, life transitions, and family entanglement.

Lynn’s primary approaches are psychodynamic, strength-based, and goal-oriented. She uses techniques to deepen reflections and provoke honest awareness about oneself. She also aims to integrate Christian principles into psychology modalities & approaches, such as Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Lynn is a committed member of a church in Teaneck, NJ with her husband, and she actively participates in community events. She enjoys outdoor activities, Pilates, and warm weather. She grew up in China, moved to the United States as an international student, and now has her own family here. Lynn understands the unique challenges of identity exploration for individuals who are in the process of transitioning and adapting to different cultures.
