Natasha Steenkamp, LMHC

Counselor and Clinical Supervisor

Natasha Steenkamp works with individual clients on a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, shame, interpersonal struggles, sexual abuse, and trauma. Drawing from her personal journey of grief, following the tragic and sudden loss of her younger brother in 2011, Natasha specializes in helping clients who have suffered various losses. For many years, she facilitated grief workshops aimed at providing psycho-education and compassionate support. She also contributed to the Redeemer Counseling 10-week grief group curriculum, “Mourning with Hope”. Natasha uses IFS and AEDP in her counseling work and is trained in EMDR. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary.

In addition to her passion for counseling, she enjoys teaching at the college level and holds a certification in Adult Education, previously serving as an adjunct faculty in the psychology and counseling program at Pillar College in New Jersey. Most recently, she has been focusing on supporting others in their journeys of spiritual formation.

Natasha and her husband, Henri, are active members of Grace Chapel in Bedminster, N.J. She enjoys traveling, photography, painting, bird-watching, and swimming. Originally from South Africa, Natasha is an enthusiastic rugby and cricket supporter.
