Rebecca is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in couples therapy. She has advanced training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which aims to improve relationships by disarming conflict, increasing intimacy, and fostering empathy and understanding through the use of specific techniques and principles. She is also trained in ACT, Relational Life Therapy, and is a certified Prepare Enrich facilitator. Her approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and focused on creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals and couples can heal and grow. She works with clients on a range of issues, including grief, anxiety, relational dynamics, intimacy concerns, and work-related stress.

With more than 35 years of marriage to a pastor and church planter, Rebecca has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by clergy couples, lay leaders, and diverse people of faith living and working in New York City. This personal and professional experience also fuels her interest in the intersection of faith and mental health.

A proud native New Yorker, Rebecca enjoys exploring the city's vibrant food and cultural scene with her husband and four adult children. When she's not counseling, you may find her cooking for family and friends, hiking with her husband or traveling in search of a beautiful beach—her happy place.
