Helping couples move
toward secure attachment

Counseling Toolkit for
March 2025

In our February Toolkit, we explored the three main attachment styles and their impact on relational dynamics. The good news for couples—and individuals—is that though someone has anxious or avoidant tendencies, they can learn to connect more through education, counseling, and building new skills. In this month’s Toolkit, we explore how we can support individuals with anxious and avoidant attachment styles in developing a more secure and effective connection with their partners.
